A 62-year-old lotto winner from America has lost a court case against her ex-boyfriend. He demanded a share of the $ 750,000 on the basis of an alleged verbal agreement. In an article on forbes.com it also states that the jury in Florida decided in his favour, so the winner was ordered to pay $ 291,000. After the court decision, her ex-boyfriend also demanded a further $ 150,000 on lost income interest, which led the winner to file for bankruptcy.

The Lucky Star numbers were part of a draw of the EuroMillions with a Jackpot of a staggering £ 19 million.

Thanks to the dollars won in the Jackpot, France can soon look forward to a visit by the Canadian millionaire. Hopefully, he won’t have to cut his trip short this time...
