55 - 1 winner in the Lotto Max drawing scores $55 million jackpot

The lucky winner of the MAX lotto scored the MAXimum jackpot. The winner comes from Ontario and used the following numbers to reel in the big prize: 1, 16, 20, 29, 33, 44, and 46. The bonus number was 15.

The jackpot for the next drawing begins at $13 million again.

21 - National Lottery winner rakes in £21,054,380

It seems to be the week of single winners. In England, there was also 1 lucky winner who can now call himself a multimillionaire. The lucky winner can now add nearly 22 million British pounds, £21,054,380 to be specific, to his or her bank account. It was the sixth largest prize ever disbursed to 1 winner from the National Lottery.

15 - Scraping $15 million together

This time it was a lucky scratch-off ticket instead of a lottery winner. Imagine spending $30 and seeing a number with a $15,000,000 amount next to it, only to see it in the row of winning numbers moments later.

12 - Canadian Winner receives $12.8 million from Lotto 649

The third time is a charm: this is the third time this week that we are sharing the news of a jackpot won by a single ticketholder. In Quebec, Canada, the numbers 7, 8, 22, 32, 40, 45, and the bonus number 25 scored someone the grand prize of $12.8 million from Lotto 649.

1 - Merlin MS Centre receives more than £1m from lottery winner

Although the number of millions is quite a bit lower than the other amounts mentioned on this page, we are going to conclude with this week’s most wonderful news. Peter Congdon, a previous jackpot winner, has donated more than £1 million to the Merlin MS Centre. Peter’s wife, Rosemary, has had MS for more than 30 years. This donation makes further research into multiple sclerosis, a terrible illness, possible.
